This is to inform you that from 23rd February onwards, we will start charging a cancellation fee of Rs.10 whenever you cancel a ride after 5 minutes of booking. The cancellation fee will be charged from your linked wallet or as an additional charge of Rs.10 on your next ride.
Why are we charging for cancellation?
Since customer cancels their rides frequently, it was unfair on the captain's part & due to this, they are less likely to accept the pickups. Also, the captain has to bear the loss of fuel as well as time once they have started the journey towards your pick up. It has also increased the number of calls between captain's and customers to confirm the pickup. It will also affect their chances of getting other rides. To make the experience of our customers and captains more unruffled, we'll be charging a cancellation fee of Rs10 from our customers.
Terms & Conditions:
1.If you cancel within 5 minutes, you won't be charged.
2.If you canceled the ride after 5 minutes, you will be charged Rs.10.
3.If you are unreachable or captain was unable to get in touch with you, you will be charged cancellation fee.
NOTE - In case of wrong amount charged, the amount will be credited into your Rapido Wallet.
